Lower School
All Lower School students (Pre-K, Lower Grammar, Upper Grammar, and Dialectic) participate in classes which are tailored to age-appropriate content. These classes are carefully chosen and placed in a master Scope and Sequence from PreK to High School. Depending on school placement, these include:
The Master's Study encourages the use of a number of different curricula and resources including, but not limited to:
- Handwriting Without Tears for early and emerging writers
- and Dictation resources from Peacehill Press
- The Progymnasmata writing approach for students in grades 4 and above
- Latin resources from Classical Academic Press
- Varying science resources, including the God's Design series (Answers in Genesis), and science texts from Apologia (both Jeannie Fulbright and those published by Dr. Jay Wile).
- Varied history resources depending on the historical topic of study for the year
- An extensive literature reading list for students in Upper Grammar and Dialectic school
